making a beetle/mask

My beetles are articulated making a mask when the wings are closed. Lately I have been using branches from dead trees that the wood boring beetles have intricately tunneled paths into the wood under the bark. I love the patterns and they appropriately make good legs for my beetles. Of course I paint them with layers of acrylics.
